I'm having an identity crisis:o

My RRC has a Isuzu 4BD1 (ex County), a sals rear diff and front fine spline diff (ex 96 'fender 130) a LT95 (110 county) and a RRC for the rest.

Where do I fit in?

I might just become an outcast, a pariah, a leper of society wandering the streets with no home or roof over my head, nothing to eat, no sustenance.....

What HAVE I been drinking!!!!?????

Can I post here If I promise not to talk about wine? or recite the Monty Python Cheese shop sketch???

as you have more shed on wheels parts in your vehicle than RRc parts you can post in any of the shed on wheels class forums

county/deefer and the isuzu forum....

but any wine posts other than the stuff that your diffs and gearboxes do and your off to the RRc forum.

Nothing wrong with the odd cheese n wine party...esp those black jacket affairs out in the middle of nowhere...places only a Defender could take you :D

Does this mean I have to pack my Lodge suit next time I go down the Diamantina? I normally take the RMW's and moleskins, or old road trainers uniform of blue singlet, stubby shorts, and thongs. I did see an old cockie at the Toompine Races Ball once, dancing in dinner suit and high heeled RMW's. He had a two tone face, brick red below the Akubra line and fish belly white above.

Dave,

There are basic 4WD land Rovers and nice Land Rovers.:D
Us Disco owners choose the "Nice" Land Rovers.

That is why I have a Caravan, luxuries are good.
Being and ex "Grunt" I do know how to "rough it" but prefer not to :D

Cheers mate,

How about a Defender desert trip next year, mid year or early spring. A day to get to a gathering point, then 5 days in the dirt and a day to get home.
Any ideas any one !!!.;)

hiline:
it's to the tune of an aussie christmas carol - of which the name escapes me.
Starts off with "Out on the plains the brolgas are dancing". Carol of the Birds, that's it.

:)

ha ha i found it :D

The Carol of the Birds
(Wheeler/James)

Out on the plains the brolgas are dancing
Lifting their feet like warhorses prancing
Up to the sun the woodlarks go winging
Faint in the dawn light echoes their singing
Crana! Orana! Orana to Christmas Day.

Down where the tree ferns grow by the river
There where the waters sparkle and quiver
Deep in the gullies bell-birds are chiming
Softly and sweetly their lyric notes rhyming
Orana! Orana! Orana to Christmas Day.

Friar birds sip the nectar of flowers
Currawongs chant in wattle tree bowers
In the blue ranges lorikeets calling
Carols of bush birds rising and falling
Orana! Orana! Orana to Christmas Day.
