Nothing unusual I know, but thought I'd post it here so I could share the joy :)

Every address I looked up in DNS returned a 192.18.1.x number.

I'm guessing it's DNS has been hacked or it's just been buggered completely. I imagine it'll take a while to sort out too.

Oh well, doesn't worry me I'm on Optus... :)

big puddle is working fine here (so far!) phew!

no doubt it will cascade as cached data expires if it is their servers

Working fine for me, also. I wonder if Optus (heaven forbid) is the problem!

Maybe it's only the 1 DNS server, dunno.

First noticed it when one of our "special staff" called because their webmail wasn't working ("special staff" only have Bigpond at home to read email). That's why I'm sure it's not just our ADSL line we have here in the office.

No likely :p I'm not using Optus at work, just saying that when I get home I'll be fine :p:p:p
