G'day and thanx for the welcome.
with help from "Phoenix" i have now had a relapse of my Land Rover addiction and have bought a stage 1 3.9 diesel tray for a farm "bus".

it's a beauty but needs a couple of odds and ends sorted

i will put a reco steering box in it to address the backlash in the steering and expect to learn a bit about the local anatomy while doing the "tetris" manouvre.

I am mystified by the lights on the auxillary panel that is in the centre of the dash- the only one that i can figure out is the diff lock light. What are the other two above it and what are the round things next to the warning lights?

Has anyone found a way of making the LT95 diff lock disengage in a timely manner? My new vehicle behaves the same as my old Rangie- engages quickly but disengages at its own pace despite the usual tricks of driving in reverse etc

Can i put a tacho on the isuzu diesel?

From memory the other lights are handbrake/brake test and ... sorry can't remember. Dunno what the round things are - my Stage 1 had a custom centre instrument panel from before I bought it (but with the square lights carried over).

I think the LT95 is just like that. Please let us know if you have a solution.

Tacho - yes, but I don't know exactly how on the Isuzu. Perhaps a post on the Isuzu pages of this forum will find the people in the know.

Welcome to AULRO and to Stage 1's!
