Been doing a trawl of disco3.co.uk today to look for some info on fitting wiring inside the cabin and to the rear, and came across the following which may be of interest to some.

Fitting 12v sockets to rear of cubby box. (http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic6089.html) Interesting that the UK models seemingly have this on the SE upwards, whereas my SE doesn't. Will pull the blanking plate and check I have the loom before ordering the bits though!

There's also this (http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic15958.html) one for adding remote radio control buttons to the steering wheel, and this (http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic16265-15.html) one for cruise control.

Plus two threads for getting a decent screen where the factory SatNav would go. The Kenwood version (http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic10514.html?highlight=kenwood+lz702w) uses (I think) a modified Garmin interface box, so the touch screen works! With any luck, this will take the Garmin Aus maps giving me topo and street nav in one integrated unit - I'm investigating further and will report back.
The Alpine (http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic15958.html?highlight=kenwood+lz702w) unit looks an easier fit, but I can't find reference to the associated SatNav unit on the Aus website, which would kind of rule it out for me...but if all you wanted was a reversing camera and DVD screen, it looks a nice unit.

I had the majority of them on my D2a, but didn't fancy buying a HSE to get the same on the D3. :o
