Im looking to "tade up" from my seriesIII 88 to a defender 90,

I know they rear as hens teeth but does any one know of any for sale?

What is there to look for in a good 90?

You will have to be very patient! There are hardly any around.

Look in the Markets section of this site (although there are none there at the moment that I know of) as well as all the usual suspects on the web (carsales, drive, TradingPost, etc) and even eBay.

There were a few near new ones (TD5) a few months ago so they do come up but they are not cheap unfortunately.

saw a red td5 (03) on carsales.com.au for $35 last week I think. looked nice. only about 30k km with a new arb bumper...

there is a black one for sale at brisbane 4wd's at kedron, saw it last night coming back from my mothers place. know nothing about it, just that it is there..

Deffy had his for sale a while ago. It's an early 1990s 200Tdi.
He's in Sydney.

He used to call into Trivetts from time to time with his co. car (Volvo) but he left that job a while ago.

half his asking price would have been closer to a sale price!
havnt seen him round for ages?
