I didn't really didn't see much serious swimming going on there. We used to do a whole lot better out at Condobolin crossing flooded ditches & water ways and the like when I was a younger bloke back in the seventies.

this was my street after recent flooding in tweed heads / n-e nsw last week.
@ about 5-10kp/h trying not to get water to the windscreen
not modified d1

well i have a snorkel, and a head light that leaks :)
it got a bit deeper but i wasn't going to stop

still cool beginner vid ('cept the audio track, hanging head in shame for not taking advice to turn off the audio :) )

yhea get pretty bad down that way i remember once we were visiting a friend and it rained all day!!, vice to say we were stuck for the night till late the next afternoon !!.

The TD5's would have been 'stuck in the mud' if it wasn't for the TDI... haha.
What was the rope going from each side of the roof rack to each side of the bull bar?

Yer it looks like I was going too fast but it drops into a dip and then you come back up

Discodave yes the air cleaner was soaked (RAM POD) but the V8 kept on going

What was the rope going from each side of the roof rack to each side of the bull bar?

to stop branches hitting windscreen standard fitment on camel trophy vehicles.
