I wonder if the Disco will pull this ??????

NOT exactly designed for Australia, but from Scandinavia comes the latest in caravans ... a double-decker!

The unique and unashamedly plush 8.2 metre-long Royal Tower soars to four and a half metres high, allowing people to stand comfortably, even on the top deck.
The sumptuous lower deck features a living room, kitchen and breakfast dinette, plus a bedroom with comfortable single beds, while the upper deck has a 'lounge' with L-shaped sofa and cocktail cabinet with wine fridge.
A door from the lounge leads out onto the roof of the front section, which serves as a sunbathing terrace.
Naturally the new double-decker caravan is fully equipped with air conditioning on both floors, a dishwasher and more.
And the price? A cool $170,000, plus shipping charges, could make you a true king of any caravan park and master of all you survey from your tall tower.

Cripes could you imagine that thing getting into a fish tale, with all that weight at the rear

Frankly for the money I'd rather go for an artic. and get some real size out of it.

I hope the grey nomads never get these in oz - heaven help us. There are enough aweful winnebagos and huge buses plying the 'outback' now. Yuk!

ROFL hahaahaha.

I think it looks great. I was looking at building a new house for that money but hell I'll just park a van on the land instead! I really do think that balcony part looks like it should have a pool though.

Thanks for the info, I'm in the market for an off-road camper. This sounds much better than a Kimberly Kamper;)

Don't forget some tasteful landscaping. A couple of Falcon engines on the unmown front lawn instead of garden statuary. A few part stripped Sigma/ Toyota/ Datsun scattered randomly. Washing machine at the front door. Dismantled outboard motor in the annex, and, most important, an old sofa out in the weather.

You will also need some personal grooming to keep up appearances, blue singlet, Stubbies shorts with back pocket half torn off and a copy of Best Bets shoved in, bare feet or worn down mismatched rubber thongs, a few tough pictures, uncared for long hair and a goatee beard.

You will then fit in as a classic feral caravan dweller.

Nearly forgot, you should be a long term Newstart recipient.

Herb farming and marketing will provide the means.

4.5m high! Good luck finding a servo that it will fit into. I think most are about 4.0 or 4.1m.

I can see it now - being towed by a V8 toyota lexus with the owners coming from Sylvania Waters... She's standing out the front with a walkie talkie guiding him who drives, into the caravan spot or petrol bowser. She'll be wearing pink designer tracksuit with lacey plastic thongs on her feet, he'll be driving in toyota sandals, checked shorts and be wearing a white terry towelling hat covered in hat pins from all the sights of Australia..... Inside the walls will have T towells of all the luvely places they have been plastering the walls , and be sure you'll have a cuppa with teaspoons from same locations.

Camping in Style?

It's certainly doing something in style, but it definitely isn't my idea of camping.
