Just searching on the web in how we can carry more gear in my Disco (if I can change it with a County) I came with this site
Overland Off Road and Expedition Preparation by Nene Overland – 4x4 Land Rover Specialists in Sales, Service, Expedition and Offroad Vehicles, Parts and Accessories (http://www.neneoverland.co.uk/4x4services/overlandpreparation.php)

I'll have two thanks !

hmm, I hope he has some decent suspension in the rear, and maybe a fuel card, that seems a lot of weight being lugged around:eek:

Double shocks perhaps?
I like the seat covers :)

Yeah the seat covers are good, I saw them on a D1 here in AUS before.

I may be paranoid, but all that gear without a cargo barrier seems pretty brave, even with the tie down straps. I wouldn't want to be in the front seats in an emergency stop, let alone an accident !:o

They look like a version of safari suit for seats:p:D

I love the water tank on the floor, the kids would really love that lol.

With all that stuff in there there is still no fridge :D

Yes you are correct with the issue of the cargo barrier fitted in the normal place.
If we install the barrier just behind the front seats perhaps we are limiting the access from the doors to the fridge.

I just wonder if the stove in the rear door is a good idea.
Is there any member that use this stove set up ?

I reckon the stove in the back door mount looks good. It appears to be well protected - I wouldn't have any problem with using it.

Have a look at a couple of the latest 4WD magazines with the pic's of the modified new Toyota 200 series at some show in the states. That thing's got a stove AND a fridge mounted OUTSIDE the back door on a carrier. Now that would really last a long time in the bush.

Not a good place to put the fire extinguisher! The most likely spot for a fire is on the stove then you can't get to the extinguisher.

Having window guards on the back door and only two side windows seems a tad daft too. Whats to stop a thief from breaking the rear door glass to get in and run off with the fridge etc?

I think this Disco was a Northern Ireland spec, hence the security grills on the windows:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
