i am currently thinking of selling my beloved isuzu and adding another 4 cyclinders - stroked 3.9 probably.

curious as to know if there are any keen buyers out there, open to offers, the transplant will depend on if/how much the isuzu goes for.

okay simple list

1990 4BD1 can't promise but from what i've been told around 150ish k's
just had new injectors done, $800ish
new garret turbo last year
runs a RB25 intercooler
adjustable boost
pyro
boost gauge
2 3/4" i think dump pipe
full mandrel 3" system if you have a 90:p

open to honest reasonable offers, is also mated to a LT77 if you need a box.

p.s. i'm not a mechanic so don't get to technical with any q's

cheers

While I am VERY interested in what you're offering but I cant come up with a reasonable offer as aTM the bank account says Im living on 2minute noodles and as such I could only make a stupid cheap offer....

geez nice opportunity for someone... pity for you that I've already got one :)

just a thought, if the chassis is fully engineered for the 4BD1T, it might be worth more as a rolling chassis swap over with a v8 90...(but lotsa work to do the swap).

V8 90:eek:

that would be a mission, 1st find one, then do the swap!! good in theory i suppose.

quite funny though no blue plates or anything for it, maybe too long ago, originally had a 200TDi, but is registered with the 4BD1. apparently British off road did it. well i think they did, they guy whom i bought it off said the conversion was done by a land rover mob up near the sunny coast, and i bought it in canberra

Thanks - no idea how the search I have missed that. Will keep an eye on it, but compared to the price you can get a 110 V8 County for, that is a bit steep just because it's a 90!

i dont think that is steep at all:eek: i would pay that if i had the money......
well i take that back its a little steep for an 88 model but its had a disc conversion, and only got 90000 on the clock

i would buy if i had the money and put an auto in it!!!!:)

Cheers Sam:D

Now, if I can just figure out how to sell the gearbox for 7 grand:Rolling: Then again, I just know I'm going to go to the trouble of building up my own and end up spending more. I should just get myself a nice healthy cocaine habit instead - it's cheaper and you still think you're having a good time!
