Hi Guys

Im looking to Catalogue all of my music, cd's dvd's etc etc etc, as ourselves and a few friends realised we have a hell of a collection between us.

what im looking for is something that will allow us to catalogue our stuff in a database form, and preferably have an online version so that we can all enter it into the same DB... so its listing dvd's and who has them etc etc..

get what im on about? hope so... any ideas of what could do this for me?

Thanks

Steve

How about Zoho (http://creator.zoho.com/index.jsp'serviceurl=%2Fhome.do) (free online database)

or just a spreadsheet using google's documents (https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin'service=writely&passive=true&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2F%3Fhl%3Den %26tab%3Dwo&followup=http%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2F%3Fhl%3Den %26tab%3Dwo&ltmpl=homepage&nui=1)

Zoho Looks the thing for me... apart from me being lazy and having to create a web app... it looks quite cool! so thanks for that...

as for the spreadsheet idea... got far too many dvd's and cd's etc to do that between us!

Thanks for the links!

Im lead to belive that if you set "retrieve album data" to on in windows media player and then insert your discs one at a time it will do this automatically and not only provide the name and lable it will also get the album covers and anything else that is available. (tracks on the disc, lengths etc.)

Apparently (and dont ask me how) you can export this list in total as is.
