Hi Guys,
My 93rrc has been converted to coils and who ever converted it reused the original front shock locations.
I have king springs and rancho rs5000's. I feel the front end is over damped and feels dead for a rangie. It feels like an 80 series land cruiser. Im 105kgs and if i bounce push on the bull bars it moves about and inch and stops dead.
The rear is typical range rover fare.
The car originally had pedders springs and sportsryder shocks and i put this dead feeling down to that.
I know rancho's generally aren't the preferred option due to fading which is why im puzzled as to why the front is still to stiff
Has anybody tested the difference between the shock in coil mount and the shock in front of the coil mounted?
My dads 89 has kings and rs5000's and the standard coil sprung rangie mounting locations and ride a hell of a lot better than my 93 and corners better. So the different front shock location is all i can put it down to.
cheers
Luke
