View Full Version : Wanted Series 3 Doors Perth

Just wondering if anyone out there has a set of doors for a series 3 1977 land rover i need left and right side doors and if anyone had the rear door that swings open to the side instead of the 2 piece ones that swings up and down.

Got 3 full rear doors.Also 3 pair of front doors,1 pair station wagon side doors.
Im in Williams,actually have 2 complete Stage 1 V8s.They were bought for a project but Im considering wrecking them or selling complete.

160ks away,Albany hwy.
About 1 1/2 hrs easy drive from Armadale.
Got PLENTY of Series gear(3 series 3s),not conducting a fire sale,reasonable offers for gear accepted.Most of the stuff is in pretty good nick.

Basically got 3 complete ser3 vehicles.(2x stage1 v8s,1 x ser3 originally 4cyl petrol converted to ford 302V8 auto)
Freight to QLD from WA would kill the deal????
As yet not started stripping any,it really is bugging me,dont REALLY want to quit them.They are worth alot more split up than whole.
I have a trailer/camper trailer project and the $$$ tied up in the 3 Landys will come in handy.SOLAR/GENERATOR/CAR FRIDGE/CAMPER TOP =BIG BUCKS.
Will decide soon,a fair interest in my collection already.

Would the series 3 stage 1 v8 fit in a series 3 1977 landrover with a 2.25litre petrol motor in it.

Anything is possible!!!!!
Only major chassis difference is the front x member if shifted forward.

UNSURE!!!!
Cost me $600
Worth a hell of alot more in bits.
The custom alloy bullbar and capstan would have to be worth that alone.

Im chasing door tops for my ser 3 ?? any good ones ??

Will have a look and let you know.
Everything seems good,just bubling on the lower skins as per normal.
Havent checked for rust in the top halfs of the 2 newies.My other pair are very good.

Hi Jeremy.
The ones in the van are stuffed,understandable as it came from Fremantle.
The wagon seems good,not easy to see as it has carpeted linings.
Watch for a post when I finally decide to wreck or split.
The wagon has a custom alloy bullbar with capstan winch to suit V8.Best bar Ive ever seen on a Landy!!!!
