G'day Guys,

Recently installed my lightbar after taking a while to source the lights I wanted - ended up with 2 pairs of Hella FF75 lights:

I used 4mm twin cable to each of the lights all fed through the light bar and come down the side of the snorkel into the engine bay:

and the circuit breakers and relays were positioned inside the drivers guard:

I used 8 B&S (8mm) cable from the alternator +ve to the relays and also made an earthing spot using similar 8 B&S cable.

The relays are activated when the high beam is selected AND the switch on the dash is turned on.

the important thing for me is the light bar does not increase the overall hight of the vehicle - so the light bar can stay on the roof and not restrict entry to my work car park!!!! the top of the lights are 10mm below the front flat section of the roof.

oh and the lights are GREAT!!!

Wow they are fantastic.. I know you are in NSW but can you tell me if the lights would work in Victoria.
I have a friend in Wa that reckons that they wont work in QLD but maybe in Nt if you run them through a Tassie relay.
