can someone tell me why this is not applicable to my 64bit vista system

According to MS is says it's a "Package", (read:small service pack) of patches to solve incompatibility issues with various applications.

Here's my theory...............

If you have auto update enabled or have been carrying out regular updates you may have already installed the "individual" patches contained in this pack so you may not need them.
Vista checks and says no, not needed.

It's the only thing I can think of
