As we are celebrating the Land Rover's 60th Anniversary and also the 50th Anniversary of the Series II, the LROC of Australia (Sydney Branch) has organized a twenty five vehicle display and has been allocated a special location on the corner of Bent and Macquarie Sts. Vehicles on display at the NRMA Motorfest are generally limited to being manufactured before 1980.

In addition to our members vehicles we have participants from other clubs – Pittwater Motor Enthusiasts’ Association, The Old Motoring Club, the Rover Car Club, Baulkham Hills Rural Fire Service and individuals.

The NRMA Motorfest 2008 will be held on Australia Day, Saturday 26 January 2008 in Macquarie and College streets, Sydney.

Come along, say G'day and browse over some really well restored Landies, each one with a unique story behind it.

The NRMA Motorfest 2008 will be held on Australia Day, Saturday 26 January 2008.

Have just heard that a military theme 80" may also be on display at the motorfest with the rest of the Series 1, series 2, series 2a as well as fire engines and an early Range Rover 2 door or 2.

This 1951 80" vehicle is restored as a Land Rover as used by both the British and Australian troops during the Korean war.

With the interest in the military Landies around at the moment this one would be worth a look.
