Had to have my driver's door lock/servo replaced a couple of months back (central locking u/s).

Apparently this necessitates the removal of the window frame...lot of wind noise from the window frame when I got it back, went back got the frame re-adjusted - all good...

But the noise is now back and I can now move the frame relative to the door panel. The passenger side is rock solid...

Where are the locating bolts for the frame? Are they the "tamproof" ones in the trailing edge of the door? Or do I have to pull the door trim off to get to something else?

Cheers
Mike

have you checked to make sure all the ones you can see are tight......?

there will be the ones for the front of the frame under the door trim......

and.....as for the wind noise.......the little black trim that covers the screws for the door mirror.........
should have a bit of foam in there or rubber i think......to help muffle wind noise......
this usually falls out during disassembly.......

Ahhh, that'll be a Sunday morning job! Better than mowing the lawn!

This is interesting.
I didn't know the window frames were "adjustable". I've got a noisy rear passenger side door window frame since they replaced the glass after a break in. I just assumed it was bent.

If it's adjustable I might be able to angle it in slightly to seal better. Anyone know there is any danger of upsetting the glass? Better to do it with window up or down?
