Running Vista business and using Office 2007 and occasionally when printing page/doc (mainly from a web page) it prints any colour pics or logos in duotone red only? On screen the picture and logos etc look as they should, but simply come out red when printed:eek:

Any ideas?

Vista AND Office 2007? You're doomed. I've done the same thing and rue the day...

sounds like a printer driver issue to me..

check the manufacturers site for the latest version of their driver.

you have the latest updates for vista installed?

i have been running vista business and office 2007 for yonks, nary a problem that wasnt my fault i have to say.. with one exception and a bois update fixed that..

Will do Inc and yes have the latest Vista updates installed. Definitely prefer XP for pure functionality as weird things have happened since using Vista......like printing red.........and not being able to establish a wireless network at home........and not being able to connect an iPod Nano etc etc....:(

most of your problems are security settings related by the sounds of it..

cept the printer driver that is dodgy driver software IMHO

Yep, Vista likes to warn me about things my computer is about to do...........half expecting to have warning message next saying something like;

"You are about to print, are you sure you want to print this document? Are you definitely sure you want to print this document and would rather not just save it?"

"You are about to save this document, are you sure you want to save this document...................................."

You get the idea:D

Will chase up the drivers and see if this solves my problems;)

Cheers, Mick

lifes much easier with macs :P

you can turn a lot of that prompting off.... but you lose some of the security enhancements then :P

LOL

It's just reminded me of a "person?" a while back telling me the laser printer won't print and what should she do, (via telephone)
I asked if there was any error messages.
There was an error message on the printer that she read out to me.
"A4 Tray empty, fill Tray 1" :D

Then there was another bloke asked me for a black cartridge for his inkjet priter then said "while I'm here can I have a white one too"

I'm on a roll here.............
Today someone asked if I could go a fix her "dial-up broadband"
