Just got my bus on the road finally.
76' SIII that has only done 28000 K's from new!
I would wager it is the most original SIII in Perth (Australia?). Still has the tool kit and everything! had to replace the radiator and do up the brakes but all else good bar some oil leaks (on a landy...never ;OP).
A real spin out to drive as everthing is sooo tight!
Still on it's original plates. Interior is almost totally unmarked!
I AM IN HEAVEN!!!

Lucky bugger.

When I started to pull my 79 model apart, she was so loose I put most of the spanners back in the tool box.:D

Enjoy her, mate.;)

Looks ALOT better than these pics now but this is it "as found".
Was sitting in a car port in Perth on a major road for 12 years without moving.
I was "doing up" a SIIa SWB but sold it to get this! Once in a lifetime find!!
Enjoy!

I will take some pics at the range this weekend and post them.
As you can imagine, I have to pinch myself sometimes to see if I am dreaming!

The old radiator is the "option" extra core type which is probably the same as a heavy duty series II one??!!

You are extremely lucky to find it, but it just goes to show, there are still some real finds to be made.
