Hi there,

I got a D90 and would like to put the fold up seats in the back,

Do the fold up seats in the 110 fit the 90?

where would be a good place to get some?

How would it go in rego from a 2 seater to 4 is there any thing i would have to watch out for?

Cheers,

There are so few 90s in Austrlaia that it will be difficult to get definitive answers, particularly for the legal position. I suggest the first action should be to discuss the idea with the RTA. Since 90s have not, as far as I know, ever been sold in Australia with rear seats, any fitted would presumably require engineering.

G'day p-a :)

You could possibly use the forward facing seats as fitted to the 2007 110's or the ones by Exmoor Trim ex UK, as all the 90's sold new in Aust were sold as 2 seaters, but there have been private imports that have had the rear seats fitted and have been registered in Aust. talk to you local RTA office and GET IT IN WRITING, then when they reneg 9and they will) you have something in print (hopefully on a letterhead);)

i have seats for the rear of my 90. they are custom ones made by BAC. (think its belmore automotive conversions)
these are forward facing and have lap seat belts.
for me to get the 90 passed as a 4 seater all i have to do is, take the car to someone who does blue slips show them the serial number on the seats and the oz standards tags on the belts and then he updates my rego details.
i priced a replacement pair while i was talking to them, $2000:eek:
needless to say they didnt make it onto my insurance list.....

found it. they dont have pic's for the forward facing like mine.

I think I may have what you are looking for.
Two new unused seats to suit a back of a landy.
They came with my FC 101 to fit in the rear.
They were never fitted as they are too modern and not right for a 101.

They were privately imported from England.
They are modern shape and look to fit over the rear wheel arches most likely side ways facing each other.
It would take a bit of effort to get a photo as they are in the roof of my garage.
Any one interested...........what value do you put on these things?

So long as they are built and installed to VSB 5 standard, then it should be fine.

We had the rear seats in the 110 installed by Belmore auto conversions, and they did it all & was ok as it passed it's blue slip not long after.

I believe VSB 5B relates to seats installed by individuals.
