I finally got around to plotting out the greif I'm putting my current turbo through. It appears 20psi is outside what garrett originally intended.

If you only got to 15psi, great turbo for this engine. I don't expect this one to last forever but it's doing okay so far.

You're looking at the pressure/flow graph which garrett published for the T25 turbo. The red line I have drawn on there represents the airflow requirements from idle to about 3000rpm at full throttle.
As you can see, it ventures far outside the graph which garrett deemed safe.
the point in the middle of the graph is the flow/pressure requirements for my engine at 100km/h. As you can see it's right in the middle of the plot where it should be.

For 20psi yes, for 15psi and under it's fine.
This is exactly the same compressor which Isuzu factory specced on the later 4BD1T's and all the 4BD2T's with the non wastegated turbo.
