Speaking of "Grange". Back in 1986, the Brother His mate and I did a trip across the Simpson Desert, in his new Turbo Sahara. The idea was to camp on one of the flats, in the centre, cook up a Lamb roast in the camp oven, and wash it down with fine wine.:D
Bro's mate, Brian Vaughton, brought along a bottle of 1965 Grange and a 70's Hanwood port (His Mother owned the Kings Head tavern in Adelaide) which he dug of from the cellar of their Hotel.
I tell ya, a roast with salt bush smoke in it, followed by liquid gold in the middle of the desert, is a night I'll always remember. Especially when a dozen Dingo's turned up at 2am sniffing the leftovers  Gee they were big dogs!

Anyone could just go out and buy a case. Your a super moderator, surely you could organise a dozen blonde bombshells, just like NM, to crush your grapes with their bare feet. Alternatively get them to feed you grapes off the vine whilst you sit back relaxing in a hammock wearing a Toga.

We still haven't drunk that last bottle of Grange. As you may recall, we drank one bottle last January on my 60th birthday.
We think we have to keep this bottle to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Medical School in a few years time - or my imminent retirement. :wheelchair:
Ahh, less than a month to go before I go on 4.5 months long service leave.

Don't do what I did Ron
Was given a bottle of Grange (can't remember the vintage) a 1948 Grandfather Port and a 1956 Hardy's Show Port on my 21'st B/day.
Had them for ten years just keeping them for that very special occasion and then my house burnt down :(
