I will put the question out there in hope some one may be able to fill in the gaps:

A good friend of mine received an e-mail asking if Land Rover Dealer in SA (being "Champion Limited") were assembling 80' CDK land Rovers at Elizabeth in SA.

Is some one able to shed any truth to the discussion.

I got the impression that the person was asking about Land Rovers being built in Elizabeth SA, not necessarily by Champions and I thought he was asking about a later period relating to the Vietnam War era.

However any information to clarify the question would be great.
