View Full Version : Good reason for a small delay top Fraser Trip !

Well I've had to delay my departure day from Sunday (oh that's today) until Tuesday so will only end up with 9 days on the osland - still a good holiday though.
The reason ?
Tomorrow I pick up my new (old) 130 HCPU !!!!
It's the same year as my existing Ute but has a 300 Tdi engine.
Addirtional Goodies:
- well sorted suspension
- ARB on board compressor
- rear ARB airlocker
- Winch bar, brushbars, side steps.
- Steel canopy
- Rear swing away wheel carrier
- Hayman Reece tow hitch.
- Auxilliary fueld tank
- IPF spotlights.
There is some minor work needs doing - mostly a hub seal, and I;ll get the pulleys / timing belt done as a precaution.
Happy days !!! :D
Hopefully I'll get a chance to do pics on Monday otherwise you'll have to wait til I get back from Fraser.
(I'm taking the single cab to Fraser though)
Edit: Here are a few pics !!!

Me ? :wasntme:
Umm, no. I don;t think I will. That'd be a good way to f*** a long wheelbase that's for sure ! If only I had more $ I''d keep the 110 for 'racing' but alas it'll have to go....

How is the better half coping with being a 3 Land Rover family ?

Surprisingly well.
She is (like I am) attached to the old girl "Doris" but I am under strict instructions that at least one of the landies has to go..... but not her range rover. Poor Doris I shall have to find her a good home !

If you did that, the spare room would have to be at least as far away as Esperance !!!!
