i know it has been decided already, but for future reference, i always understood it to be the first one to enquire got first dibs, as mentioned above, then if the first one pulls out the second interested party gets the offer. Matt

which then leaves me with what if I want it now........

as Ive only had one reply from round 2 of the interested parties if I dont hear back from the other guy by thursday morning it will go by default to the bloke whos already answered.

I suppose the biggest thing that was causing me hassles Is that I know that both the blokes involved would be using it for the greater good, which had it been a private buyer for private use vs a buyer with intent to use it for the greater good then even if the guy who'd use it for the greater good had arrived 10 seconds before I made up my mind on the thing hed get it...

course I could just use it to blackmail inc into giving me lots more access privleges....;)
