Decided to remove the bark from from my front garden today. Hired a trailer from service station and started digging. After four hours i looked at the trailer to see springs where flattend out:eek: but finished of anyway. Disco didn't even notice the weight, got to the dump and weighed in at 4.1 tonne:eek: So Load was approx 1.5 tonne:eek: in trailer that was only rated for aggregate weigth of 750:eek: Started reversing into tip face only for the trailer to sink to the chasis rails in the mud:eek::eek: Engaged low range and pulled it out :D God these 300 tdi are good. They might take there time to get going but they get the job done. After my experience i'm suprised they keep the dump open with all this rain, must check where im reversing next time though so as to avoid nasty bog holes could have been very embarrasing.

Just hope there is nothing poking through the sidewall now!

Trailer returned and was ok, though if they found out what it had been upto they might not let me hire again. Just a tip always check the tyre pressure b4 you leave the service station they only had 22 psi in them. Unless you're hauling a trailer load of feathers that ain't nowhere near enough.
