Rear window - are they just winding me up or what ?

Hi all , whent to wind the rear whindows down in my 89 last night and noticed that both only go half way down ?????

The other option is having the kids fall out the back windows.

3/4 of the way down is normal for the back windows.

Thats how they are. only go half way. A bit annoying but it is a Rover after all so get used to annoying traits.

I assume the RR is the same but in the Disco there is no room in the door for the window to go all the way down. Although it could possibly have gone down a little more if they had wanted too.

Look on the bright side, at least they go back up again. The last time I opened my back windows, I had to take the inner door liner off to get them closed again as the metal runner they sit in had rusted away
