Hi All

I know someone who is thinking of selling his 130 cab chassis (standard not extended cab alas) Defender 300Tdi. Don't have the details but it's got a full service history and receipts for work completed, a really nice wooden base to the tray, bull bar, pretty standard apart from the rims and tyres. I don't know the kms but i don't think it is a huge amount, pretty typical.

Given that ive provided few details is he way off base looking for 12?

Sounds like a good price to me for one in nice condition. 130s hold their value nicely.

Don't believe the Red Book prices. They are well under reality.

$12 for one in good order is $2k over my thinking price for a $130 in "its straight, it runs and the chassis isnt showing major rust yet" condition.

Thanks everyone for the advice.

I'm getting the full details from him shortly and will post it in the For Sale section. I know it has had some work done on the bits that are attached to the engine, colling system, turbo etc. I believe the previous owner was a Landy mechanic in Perth (won't say more for privacy reasons).

Andrew, buy a lotto ticket for this weekend, it would be perfect for you.
