Hi,

I have a Game 1976 2.25 petrol, all original with a fairey overdrive that I am thinking of offloading. I have a spare gearbox, highspeed transfer case (both in pieces but in good condition), overdrive and diff as I was going to rebuild a complete drivechain and eventually swap it all over.

It is registered until May but will need a little work for renewal.

I can't let it go for nothing but if you give me a call on 0416 797 686 we could discuss.

Cheers

Terry

Hi there

Mine is for sale currently at $1200 but am willing to negotiate for an enthusiast

Currently used on property but unregistered

Briefly

1979 S3 original engine etc - owned since about 1985 - used to go camping with son - now just a memory!!
Colour - patchy sahara with white roof
Factory fitted Fairey O'Drive - effectively 16 forward gears
5 very good wheels and tyres - sunraysia rims / wrangler tyres - spare never used
Hard top with both full rear door, and swing down (bottom half)
Runs well around paddocks doing lifting carrying etc
just does its job as and when required

If you want to have a look, I'm in Cessnock Hunter Valley and phone 0419 851010

cheers

If you cannot do it dirt cheap or free - I am in the market for a SWB too. As posted on REMLR and the Sa thread - and this one!

Hiker - I hope to be in touch soon re: Zambezi!!

Anyone else?

Everyone seems to want to know the registration requirements of Zambezi

It was last registered 4 years ago - since then, been used (rarely) around the property - less than 5kms per month

According to my pink slip guy (note pink slip) it just needs the seats to

qte
"look original"
unqte

as the seams are split etc

Secondly, the indicator stalk needs replacing (preloved unit supplied - ready to fit)

He would give it a pink slip without hesitation provided the seats were fitted in according to original specs and the indicators work..... but a blue slip inspection is more 'complicated'.

Engine's OK
Tyres, steering, brakes, suspension OK
Seat belts fitted
No rust problems

I cannot say what (if any) problems lurk beneath, but it starts, goes, works as required according to my requirements.

cheers all, and thanks for your interest

That's a first for me

Arrived, looked it over, once around the paddock, out with the cash!

Another restoration on the way - look out for it on the road!

cheers all .... and thanks for your interest.

Where are you at? I know of one near Darwin which would make a good project, needs just about full overhaul - sat immobile on a farm for a good few years.

Hi All,

Chasing a LR Series 3 must be short wheel base and cheap for pensioner wanting to undertake a full restore. Prefer mostly complete vehicle close to Sydney. Engine whether LR original or holden does not matter, ex army ok, will consider any h/top or soft top and in any condition. Please call me to discuss details on 0403 649958. :)
