I'm surprised it chewed itself up like that!
I guess the front drive wheels took off, over the bucket and......... yeah
I have never seen a 4WD tractor do that!

its like a cartoon toy.
would you think speeding and the bucket dug in causing the trailer to shorten the tractor somewhat.
so funny, be hard to explain to the boss,
i'd probably ring him - from a thousand mile away.

The bucket must of dug in well:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.
Surprised the pilot didnt go thru the window.
Thats a pretty heavy trailer it was towing, most likely to be unbraked.

Too much speed
bucket to low, caught and dug in.
weight of the trailer and momentum did all the rest.
Pretty much what LandyAndy suggests.
Driver Error!
It looks like a trailer off a road train (semi trailer on a dog) and I bet that the full air brakes on the trailer have been disabled. :nazilock: Addit; I guess it's in the US - no front number plates on the Ford ute and the person talking to the LH window making it LHD. Only a guess though!

No manufacturer name on the tractor? Has it been blanked out?
I suspect the tractor is an "asian deluxe"

Agreed, but not so much as the bucket too low but traveling with it in the scooping postion (tilted forwards about 30 degrees lower than level) so it could grab, if it was running in the haul postion (tilted right back) it would have made lots of pretty sparks but thats about it.
the trailer appears to be a standard semi on a single axle dolly converter thats been bodged to suit the tractor.

Too right Dave - just couldn't think of the "converter dolly" term when I made the post and you're correct about the rotation of the bucket.
As long as you disabled/disconnected the brakes on the trailer and converter dolly there would be not very many other mods needed. Although they seem to have dropped down the ring on the dolly "A" frame.
The cab seems to be pretty much intact although thrown around quite a lot. Bet the driver didn't have a seat belt!

I have seen somthing similar happen to a Leopard Dozzer Tank. They have two travel pins that need to be in place while at speed, however they wernt and they folded the blade under to the third road wheel at 50odd kay. Put the turret crew in hospital. 50 to 0 in 3 metres. Drove the barrel in too.

I reckon the tractor was unrestrained freight on the trailer when it came adrift from the towing vehicle, not Aussie gear:o

Should be good for those hard-to-get-to corners....
Maybe it's a transformer and it got a cramp half way through turning into a building.:)

If it were freight, wouldn't it have somersaulted and landed on it's roof or just rolled on it's side.
I can't imagine any mechanism from falling off a trailer that would have shortened the wheelbase? Although falling out the back of an aircraft would have been sufficient to create that sort of damage.

Plenty of low-flying KWs on the Hume Highway - and yes I could imagine that as a mechanism of injury resulting in that sort of damage!

No, No, no, it's a new form of 4WD, the smaller front wheels rotate the back wheels, has a bugger of a turning circle though, LOL, Regards Frank.

I think Ian hit the nail on the head and i showed a mate that transports our work machines around and he says it certain looks like a loader that came off in transport, but how it ended up like it did he is scartching his head.

This is one of my mates tractors, he was slashing long grass and hit a rock, in trying to save his tractor he tried to escape the fire but it caught up to him. The fireies found him running out of the smoke and as he clambered over a fence he colapsed from heat exhaustion and smoke inhalation (he is fine now). Thats hin in the pic about a week later

Yea right
Wot they speed limit them wearing 205R 16 wheels and tyres and then drive on 295/80R 22.5 wheels and tyres!
How else would they be overtaking you like you are going the other way when you are travelling at 110KPH and they are limited to 100 KPH?

My theory is -
1~Trailer detatches from towing vehicle.
2~Trailer brakes imeadiatley apply, stopping said trailer wheels suddenly.
3~Tractor falls off, bucket digging into bitumen.
4~Skidding trailer catches up to rippers preventing flipover.
But I could be wrong;)

Damned Navman - those satellites never give accurate speed.
