Bullbars

Hi everyone,

I have just bought my first Discovery after many years on the dark side ( Cruisers/Hilux etc) and I took my V8 S1 Disco for a decent drive today and got to wondering why I hadn't bought one earlier. I am realy impressed with it but I don't need to brag about it here, you would already know :cool:

Now, mine doesn't have a bullbar, it is basically stock even after 11 years. I have been searching the internet for idea's on bullbars and to be honest, the ARB and TJM ones dont really get me excited.

I really like to tube style bars that are winch compatable but dont know where to get one in Tassie. Has anyone got any idea's. Maybe I will have to freight one from the mainland.

Could some of you guys post a pic of your bull bars so I can get an idea of how they look.

I will be fitting a winch, spotties and CB ariels so it has to be a decent bar.

My wish list also includes a decent lift (springs and body), BFG muddies, winch, bar work front and rear as well as some internal mods for camping.

range rov automotive in vic make a good looking bar that can take a winch too, goes for about 1200

on a different note, what size MTR's and rims do you have on your disco?

ordered a TJM bar today, it was the best that I could do. I kinda like the bar and it will do for a while.

also ordered my Cooper STT's. I saw them in the flesh today and they will do nicely.

will post some pics when I get it all fitted.
