Just bought home a Series 2 Land Rover to donate parts to Daisy, I will be pulling her down over the next couple of weeks, if there is anything you guys may need let me know.

I am keeping the chassis, leaf springs, diffs, gearbox, roof, windscreen & overdrive.

Bulkhead has had some repairs but still servicable, most of the panels are stuffed.
Bullbar has been spoken for.

No heater coil, I will pull the door off tommorrow & get some pics for you, it has had a repair in the past to the thing that stops it opening all the way.

Turtle - Indicator switch has found a home with oldmate, if this falls through I will let you know, I have 6 wiper motors in a box in my shed, I am going to check them out, oldmate is interested in 2 as well.

Wanna - door tops are ok, I will post some pics tommorrow for you to have a look at.

Does it have free-wheeling hubs? If so I might be interested in those. I am assuming as it is a series II that it still has the original 10 spline coarse axles in it.

Aaron - Yes free wheeling hubs, I would assume that they are original 10 splines but haven't got that far to check them out.

Wanna - Here are the promised pics, rubber channels are as good as gone, rest of the frames seem okay with minimal repairs needed, the rust has been patched by liquid metal by the looks.
First 2 pics are of the left frame.

A close up of the right hand side frame, worst area on the frames.

Frame is not warped the door is just not closed properly.

Olmate here are some pics of the indicator stalk.
It is a Tex Magna-Lite made by Magnatex.

Perfect working order.

Aaron IIA - They are 10 spline axles.
The hubs were manufactured by Mayflower Automotive Products.
The Fairey company purchased the MAP company and rebadged their PTO winch and dropped these hubs from production.

They have been modified by the previous owner so a box wrench isn't needed to activate them.

Alright a few more bits up for grabs-

Girling Remote brake booster.
Instrument cluster.
Front modesty panel/chassis cover.
The bulkhead is pretty shagged but if you want it it's free.
The braces for the front wings are there.
The engine is a 202 not 186, you can take the Gearbox, Motor, mounts for $250.00.

Any other bits that anyone want let me know.

The freewheeling hubs that you sent me arrived yesterday. I fitted them last night. They work perfectly, and look much stronger and relyable than the modern ones. Thankyou for posting them so promptly.

Aaron.

Aaron so glad you got them.

Alot of people see them as one of the best hubs made for the Landy, you got a bargain. I nearly changed my mind on selling them after a bit of research, they will serve you well.
Sorry they weren't cleaner................

That was the wife on ebay - I didn't show any interest as I was expecting it to go for more.

I was happy with what I got, would've been stoked with more but that's Fleabay.

I was expecting about the $450.00 mark for my overdrive but got $570.00, win some, lose some.

Wheel should be there tommorrow, I strapped it on a pallet for our mate Kermit.

Out of interest more than anything mate, how much would you sell the roof for?

I am still unsure about wether I want hardtop or ute (don't want softtop) and I'm just interested in what one would go for. Can't afford it yet though... :(

$20,000 you can have the roof.

But seriously I want it for my Series 2.
They go on Felabay for anywhere up to $200.00 in good nick.
Got some pics of your Series 2 you are willing to share?
