The other night I noticed this:
Trip Distance : 254.7
Remaining Range: 900km
Average Speed: 109km/h
Consumption: 7.8 l/100km. (just over 36mpg )

The instruments have proven accurate to about 0.1 l/100km when measured over several tank usages.

I know.........it didn't happen without pictures. (these verify that it is not a set up, look at the total km odometer ! )

I can agree with that figure :) On a trip from Adelaide to Sydney some time ago I did one leg at 85kph with cruise set. The computer went between 7.6 and 8.0ltr/100 and checking odometer with fuel usage gave 7.75. Two weeks ago I went down to Robe and on the way back in good weather(slightly windy) I decided to check fuel economy. On one flat stretch I cruised at 80kph, reset the computer and drove for 20 kilometers. The computer went between 7.3 and 7.6 but sat on 7.5ltr/100km for most of that distance. I did the next stretch at 90kph and it was around 9ltr/100. Very good economy :D
