As a new D3 owner I'm fitting it out to do the round OZ thing ie ARB Bar Snorkle,IPFs etc. Anyone have ideas with the best place to get the 12V from for power, I'm putting in a GME 3440 remote head, from a past thread I see that the coax can go through the fire wall behind the battery box.

I have the GME 3400 remote head and it sits snuggly to the left of the gear lever (in that little place for pens ...) - it cost about $120 for a mobile auto-electrician to fit. Tried doing it myself, but lost patience, time, and expertise! cheers Lance

Hi Petian & welcome,
The best place on these D3's is the battery as cutting into a loom may cause grief.
If it is just a cb maybe even the cig lighter will be ok.

If you want swiitched power you can take it from behind the power socket but you will need to remove the front facia and the top of the centre conol to get at it.
Permanent power can be taken fro the fuse box behing the glove box.
