Just thought I'd post some pics of my Sunday drive around Toolangi.

I'm gradually getting more experience with the car and both its and my abilities.
My first drive was around Big River Road, then Sheepyard Flat this one at Toolangi, so my third off-road since buying the Disco late last year. The car is fantastic to drive, both on and off road, the new General Grabber AT2's are excellent.

I had a look at Rocky Track but thought better of it on this trip, probably would do some damage without a lift kit and CDL. I played with a less intimidating hill just next to it (joining Marginal Rd with Wee Ck Tk).

Cheers :)

Yeah, I know, this D2 is bog std. I'll moderate my drives untile I can change a whole bunch of stuff. My list of want continues (in this order);
GPS, CDL, lift kit, recovery points, UHF, winch, dual battery, front bumper.

So far I've ticked off; AT tyres $1150, New brake discs $600, replacement Air Cleaner Housing $115, Service $150, Rear Wiper Arm $120, Brake Fluid clean and ABS fault code removed $190. I kinda think I'd better ease of for a month now otherwise the boss will notice!

However!!!!! gulp, tomorrow the GPS will be ticked off because I keep getting lost, and it really pixies me off! I'll also take the good advice on this forum and go driving with some like minded sods next time.

Thanks fellas

Um...pretty sure you will need the front bullbar before you put in a winch. Could be wrong there though.. :D:D

Good stuff mate. Keep your eye on the trips section.

I sat with my half glass of red and looked at my half renovated house last night and thought about keeping my marriage and family or increasing my spending on the Disco. (yes, me and the boss did have a chat!) :bangin:

It was close but the Disco lost :no2: (only by a nose though)

Anyway, I can still do plenty in a bog std disco that my other car (a '94 Magna wagon :Rolling:) cannot so I must be grateful I guess.

I'll be out there, but if you see me taking the chicken runs, please understand and grant me a little leeway. :wallbash:

No worries mate. Im in the same situation...I feel guilty leaving the house for a day out and about cause there is so much to do! Im sort of lucky as my disco has a lot of the fun gear already on it.
