Hi Guys,

What break pads would you reccomend for my D1 Tdi 98'.?
Where would you recomend to get them (bris, sunny coast)?

i found the ferodo pads to be good even though they are cheap they pull up well dont wear your discs out quickly and dont squeal you can get em at supercheap auto

Just make sure you tighten the wheel nuts when you are finished, hey Jason :angel::rocket::bangin:

Take the opportunity to grease the wheel bearings while you are doing them too. Yes it's a bit more work with removing discs etc. but while you're there......

A bit more work!! Try heaps more work. Turn a 30 minute job into a half day epic...

I have been to super cheap etc, but no 1 has them (ferodo) in stock, so they have to be ordered in! But they can't tell me which pads I need as there are different types. There is the single tab or two hole mounting, they are me options for the front and the back has sum options aswell? Can any1 tell me what I need to tell them I need for my 98' 2.5l Tdi, front and rear???:o

bendex heavy duty's for me and yes greasing the wheel bearings is about 30 mins a side

Do the bendix or ferodo squeek?
