Well! Tonight the better ;) half had to go to her night-class for a few hours and I had to look after our 12-week old princess, in that time I bottle fed her twice, did 3 nappies, and half a bath!!
I recon she only cried for 1/2 hour all up (plus a bit of a grizzle while trying to get her to sleep one time)
I recon I need a medal!

good stuff mate, i was fortunate enough to have stacey not want to leave his side for 12 months, but then i got thrown in at the deep end when stacey started getting some shifts at the servo down the road, its a bit scary the first time but you get into the groove and then its all good.

Ah yes I remember it well. My wife is a nurse and used to work weekends when I had our little princess. Bath feed sleep cry play walk in the pram etc etc. Certainly know you are alive.
She is 20 now and in the Navy. Enjoy them while you can, you blink and they are ringing you up asking how to fix their car before you know it.

Just a quick update, this Thursday night was my second night and I had her fed and bathed and in bed asleep by 8:30 when the missus got home, guess what????
She then slapt 'till 6:30am!!!!!!!
10 hours straight!
(we did both wake up during the night worried, and checked on her, but she was fast asleep!)
quietly chuffed!

I remember my first time. You certainly do feel like you need a medal! Just the other week I had our daughter who is 16 months old for three days and two nights whilst mum was at a conference in Melbourne. I was very concerned how I would go but it was great. I really enjoyed it and I reckon she did too, though she was glad to see mum home.............. As was I:)
