we used to run a chat night on a certain night of the week
how about we get this up and running again............

what time and night would suit most people ???

or we could run a chat time every night between certain hrs

How does one connect to a channel? I can't.

Click "ChatII" up in the top menu.

The chat program is a Java applet, so you might get a pop-up dialog box asking if you'll allow the applet to run, also might get a certificate approval request.

If nothing happens, your browser security settings might be set to stop Java applets from loading.

If you say yes, the applet will load, and you should go straight into the AULRO channel.

Click on Control Panel
in control panel is Java Console , double click it and in general Tab
Click on Java RE Runtime settings

should have 1.5.06_xx

also in your Internet Explorer

Click on Tools
Goto Internet Options
Go to Advanced
Check the box next to JRE ( requires a restart of your Web Browser IE)

if this doesn't help goto Download Free Java Software - Sun Microsystems (http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp)

and download Java Run Time Environment.
