I bought a Creative X-Fi sound card a little while back and it worked great,, nothing like hearing those rockets fly over your shoulder, or a Merc reloading somewhere close---
but upon loading Vista,, nothing worked,,
Creative actually realised their bad timing and finally released a CD with upgraded software to suit vista,,,, FOR FREE!!!
but of course the only place in the world that you can order one has software that limits (free!) delivery to USA and CANADA,,
so I emailed their AUSTRALIAN support and asked the question,, and after hitting the submit button was informed this email would go to either Ireland or Mexico---

Well in the second link there are a bunch of vista drivers, so I thought maybe... But then I don't know what species of X-Fi you are using ;)

the cheap one!(yea, right!) Extreme Music. and 64bit vista,,
but theres all sorts of stuff on the original CD,,
would be nice to have it all back---
