Gday All,
After a number of weeks searching - I've finally purchased a 1999 D2.
I managed to score an excellent deal on a low klm Disco, but it was only a 5 seater. I've been looking around for the additional 3rd rows seat (at the Boss's request), but have yet to find any at a reasonable price (if at all).
Im wondering if anyone can point me to a wrecker, or someone who has removed their 3rd rows seats and wants to part with them???
(Im aware of a few places that can supply non OEM seats too - But Im trying to find OEM D2 seats).
Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew,
I cannot help with the availability of seats, but I'll have a look over the web and if I find something I'll post it.
By the way, the factory fitted 7 seater's in D2's all had SLS (Self Levelling Suspension). Im fairly certain you'd want this too with the extra weight in the back. Check if its fitted to your car before you consider the seats.
Out of curiosity, what model, KM's, equipment etc and as they say here, if there's no pics, it dont exist! :D

hmm, what do 5 seaters have on the rear pillars where the belts go in a 7seater?

hmmm, is SLS a "requirement" to register a 7 seat D2? and how about the rear step?

Howdy Pedro,
I have a 01 5 seater Disco that came with after market rear seats. I took them out straight away as I do not need them. The seats have the belt and buckle attached and fold back into the space where your bins are currently. A 5 seater just has coil springs in the back and you can buy a step for about $70 on Ebay. iam in Adelaide and would part with them at the right price if you are interested. Have all bolts and plates etc required for fitment.
Cheers:)

Neither is a requirement (according to Queensland Transport), I can get a rear step for $100.

All the mounting points are on the body/frame, just covered by different interior panels.
Thanks for your reply.. Ill check with Andersens...

The extra seats wont be used on a daily basis, and the Disco is fitted with H/D coils on the rear end - dont think a couple of small kids will do much! (might help to soften the damping of the stiff springs!!)
Ill get a pic together and post the details of the car - just to prove it actually exists!!
