The old lucas starter is pretty tough, after 270k only ever had to replace 1 solenoid and have the armature skimed once.

Oh dear Diana :( What...don't you like Cronulla supporters? :(
THE Shire, and maybe I am biased, is one of the nicest areas of NSW :D
Definitely bias.

THE Shire, and maybe I am biased, is one of the nicest areas of NSW :D I reckon all the other shires are just jealous they didn't think to start referring to themselves as "The Shire" first :D
You know we all have hairy feet.....
No nothing to do with being Cronulla supporters, it is just that it always makes laugh :lol2::lol2::lol2: that he people south of the Georges River like to describe themselves as being from "the Shire", when even in Sydney we have Baulkham Hills, Hawkesbury and previously Hornsby shire.
I live in St Geroge area and worked at St George Hospital Emergency for a time. Now that lot has an interesting relationship with Cronulla supporters. :no2::no2::no2: It is as if the two hospitals are extensions of their footy teams.
It seems to me that when "the shire" folks don't want to go to Sutherland Hospital, they will by-pass Kogarah and go to Randwick for the Prince of Wales Hospital.

Yes Loanrangie there are some awful areas on the outskirts of major cities.

PS I am at a loss to work out what the four letters before "ney" represent.

when my starter motor died back in 2002, my auto electrician couldn't (or couldn't be bothered) get an original one, so he put in a magnetti-marelli. it's a little smaller because it uses permanent magnets, uses less power, spins faster and has been faultless since installed.
the one thing he told me was that if it doesn't go, don't hit it with a hammer (typical practice of you run-o-the-mill NRMA dufus), because you can crack the magnets.
that was from walkers auto electrics at broovale, .....well it's in warringah shire!

Thanks to everyone who has given a relevant response.
We are organising one from Smithfield area...
as far as all the comments on the shire...
the reference to the shire was made as there are alot of south sydney/ north woolongong residence on the forum and they know where i am talking about.... a FYI... I am not from the Shire... I couldn't give a flying hoot as to who supports who footy wise... they are all a bunch of Nut Jobs as far as i can see.. I should know being from Newcastle :P Have had a not so great experience with Eels player.. and what you see in the news... why supposrt any of them.
Not a "sport of Hero's" anymore
as far as i am concerened.. Sutherland Hospital is great.. and St George Hospital ICU are excellent too, and Thanks to both of them for looking after me and family member.
so yea. at the moment, with the crap going on with my car.. and the freaking rent rises... I am greatful i have somewhere to live and am still eating.
