For those who participated in the actual purchasing of the last round of diffs+ accessories from kieth in the US when did you pay and when did your gear rock up? (please lable your reply as "parts recieved" or similar)

For everyone else Ive been put on a course that runs for a couple of weeks a bit after I get back from cooma so I'll start doing the base work for the next run after the 17th of april, heres how it will work. (assuming that everyone wants the run before tax time)

about the 17th I'll buzz up kieth and find out what hes got that we can get as a "bulk individuals purchase" being a lot of orders placed from one place at one time.

he usually takes about 48 hours to respond so on about the 20th I'll post up whats up for grabs and supply the requisite questions for people to reply in PM to so that I can do up a list for kieth. This will be open for 5 days only.

on the 25thish I'll send of the bulk request to kieth and then when I get your confirmation prices back I'll reply to your pm's to me with that info and then your on your own as to making payments.

Before anyone asks.

Yes I'll ask about if he will take a credit card payment.

Yes I'll ask my bank about setting up an account that wont sting you all the $30 for a wire transfer and then I'll do a big single transfer

No , if I do that I wont wear the cost of it, as part of working out whose getting what at what cost I'll divvy the fee up and add it to your cost before I tell you about it.

No im not going to think about doing a distribution network, All items will be sent from kieth to your nominated delivery address.

For those who still want one

in this thread please reply in the poll as to weather you would prefer the order
before or after tax time, if its going to happen after tax time then the days between each event will remain about the same they'll just be 4 months later.

I would prefer after Tax time, but thats me being a diva. I hard to demand when its done with the savings it provides. Whatever is easiest for you really.

Can we have an option for "Yes I want one, but don't care when you order it"?

No, therese no need dont vote and keep your eye out for the thread I'll put down that says "Do you want a truetrack(round II)" and order when it turns up  (To be honest IF Id thought about it I'd've put it in)

I only put the thread up as counting the time it takes for me to organise it all, and shipment it was going to be close to tax time. my last tax check would have paid for either a full sals rear end or lockers front and rear based on the prices. I thought that if others are in a similar boat that it would have been an easy way to get them without SWMBO bleeting.

If no one votes for after (or less than 50% of people who care) I'll do the deal again as per the thread and then once more in november.

If I get more than 50% for after then I'll start post july.

That's cool - either is fine with me but I definitely want a TruTrac this time, as I missed the last thread posting "deadline" through travel. :(

Hey Guys

Good news! Seems that Eaton (who makes the TT and the DL) have actually posted delivery dates for the long backordered Tru Trac's.. Seems a bunch of the fronts will show up at the warehouse on March 17th and a boat load of rears coming in on the 15th of April.

Last go around we cleared out all the Tru Trac inventory in the States!! Prices should remain the same for this batch as last but I won't know till they actually come in and I will keep you alerted.

I'm pretty sure payment was recieved payment for all the lockers and havn't heard any complaints of of them not showing up so we must have done okay?

I probably have the gear too (Except the bloody big vice and the measuring tools), but what I lack is the expertise or the confidence to try it out "unsupervised", so it'll be going to the local diff place to do both this and the ARB for the rear I have sitting in the shed. :)

If you were coming over for Easter, I'd be PM'ing you with bribes already, 'cos I'd love to learn how to do one. ;)

I'm interested in a pair of TTs.

hmmmmm. Daves post gets me thinking about some preparation. This is opening a big can of worms but at what tyre size do you fellas think 4.11 would be worthwhile with a TDI? better still go here (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/technical-chatter/54016-tyre-size-diff-ratio-change-tdi-disco.html#post717453)

since it just a case of swapping out the crown wheel an pinion then while you have it apart to put the TT or whatever else you order in then that'd be the time to do it.

4.11's go well with 33-36 inch tyres (IMHO and as alluded to in the linked thread)
4.34's can give you a bit more pull if your higher up in tyre sizes wihtout noticabley killing your top speed
a series 4.7 ratio is going to be overkill unless you aiming for crawling speed.
