Our new addition of the 4 legged kind has arrived home

Well if you have been following our trials and tribulations with the loss of our Shepherd Benz ( 8yrs) to a car accident:

on Good Friday last year ( almost a year next mth :(), then the loss of Diesel (9mths):

This pic was at 6mths when he got a tick and survived but had to be shaven from head to toe...made it into the local paper he did :)

at Xmas due to a snake and F'n tick, you will know that I posted pics a couple of weeks ago of Diesels half brothers. Well today we picked our boy, or should I say he picked us, up and over the half fence to become an instant part of our family. The whole afternoon has been spent playing and watching him get accustomed to our golden retreiver, who since Diesel passed has just been a blob. All of a sudden she has come back to life and at 8 is like a puppy again :). So here is Maximus Diesel Benz H-C, Maxxy for short :D:

In simple terms we love our new addition and in another 4-5 wks we will have another new addition of the 2 legged kind :D,

Absolutely perfect Stevo... good work ;) Mate I reckon you have almost redeemed yourself to get your puppy visitations back :p. First night, no drama's he slept outside my bedroom, no whimpering and today has been helping "daddy" do stuff around the place :D,

________________Thanks mate, would be nice to have one all the way though to old age :). Am yet to see how Duke our Bengal cat and Maxxy will go. They havent crossed paths yet, so have camera on hand :D. Duke and Diesel grew up together and wrestled like two puppies, though the balance of power went askew as Diesel got larger:
