I have BigPond ADSL and being retired I have just reduced by usage plan to 400Mbts per month. Is there any way of having some indicator on my desktop to keep track of my usage without having to continually to BigPond site?

there are a few download usage monitors out there, cant remember what they're called though, but they are what you're looking for

i *think* hellstra might even have one on thier site

I'm pretty sure telstra supply a usage meter, give the support line a call they'll tell you where to get it.

I should also say be careful you don't exceed your limit I believe telstra charge a big excess if you go over.

some internet suppliers do not charge an excess they just slow your speed down rather than charge you

400MB:eek:

I think I'd use that in four days.

I'd be going for another isp that does more download for the same price.

400mb. Jeez. I'm concerned for you as Telstra count both upload and download correct? I have a counter but it'd be no use as it only deals with downloads. Sorry.
