hi all, i'm wanting to put twin snorkels on my county and have noticed that safari do one for both sides
ss525hf (drivers side) for the county and
ss500hf (passenger side) 200 TDI

does anyone know for sure wether these two snorkels are EXACTLY the same aesthetically (other than being for opposite sides) or are there subtle differences.

I have two on my project vehicle , one is for a 200tdi, the other a 300tdi.
The 300tdi is slightly larger and if you look at one then the other then back, its noticable. But you would need to know to look

These were repairable too..

Hey butt

just a quick thought will the standard snorkels fit as youve got your roll cage (oops sorry roof rack support);) running through the wing it looks like it might foul the snorkel ?

Ken's correct. The safari ones wont fit if there is anything running up the windscreen pillar, ie a cage.

i thought i might get away with it as the cage is kind of in front of the pillars and the snorkel is kinda offset on the outer edge of the pillar perhaps i'll just order the one and find out.
any one want a cheap snorkel if it doesn't fit?

Sorry, but I guess the V8 one is marginally bigger again. I can measure them if you want. I was going to do roof rack supports too, so I'm glad you are volunteering to be the Lab rat:D.

There are different sizes in different models. older 2nd hand ones were 3 inch or 80mm approx, and the newer ones are 100mm. I'm running twins, 1 is an old 200tdi, the other is a new 300tdi. Doesn't really matter, they still look the same unless you look closely.
