Hello to the Defender brains trust.
I have a small dilema at the moment. Running a standard 95 300tdi. When i bought it it had 32/12.5/15 BFG muddies on it and due to the wifie driving it i thought i'd put some other wheels/tyres on it (less skiddy in the wet etc). I managed to find a good second hand set of 265/75/16 hankooks on old rangie rims (Ro style i think) which have served me well so far. I have now taken them off and am back on the muddies.
My problem is i don't now want 2 sets of wheels and rims. So, would it be better to keep the rangie rims and put new tyres on them, being nearer stock than the 15s, or stick with the 15s and the muddies (which i'm having fun driving with atm). Whoever had the beast before me must have changed the gearing because by putting the 15s on, it is now closer on the speedo to the road speed, verified by GPS.
Yikes
Ta in advance
