If it doesn't have blue paint on it, it usually got 18 coats of lanolin on it!

I have washed mine 3 times since new (03 Model) but I routinely blow the inside, engine bay and chassis rails out with compressed air and lanolin everything else.

Gerni wash when I can't see out the windows.
Hose out the interior when it gets really muddy or sandy.
Always after a drive along the beach.

I don't have a set schedule for washing - I wash mine after an offroad drive if I've gone through mud or water, paying special attention to the chassis. I don't mind getting it dirty - but once home I'll clean it if need be.

I sprayed my entire underside (of Grover! :D) with fishoil too.

Whenever it gets dirty. If I'm stuck just pootling around town, maybe once a month. Inside gets done thoroughly once a month with little dog-hair vacuums every fortnight.

And I'm with Aaron - washing the car is a Zen moment for me. It clears your mind of everything else for a couple of hours.

I use that Nu-Finish stuff, it says “once a year” on the packet, but my wife thinks I'm being too littoral.

cleaned the windows a few times...
vacuumed the dust up on the inside a few times...
never washed the duco, it would probably fall off...
had probably 2 kilos of dried mud come out of the chassis last time I was under there with a long screwdriver in hand.

I'ved washed most of the body about five times. Can't reach the roof and what you can't see.......
Chassis gets a good blast after I fill it up with mud. Hose out the interior every once in while and changed the ecu just after christmas when I got stuck in a creek:BigCry::BigCry:
I'm in a quandry at the moment cos I don't know how to present at Cooma...clean or dirty?

you can wash a defender?.......

I just scrape the windshield every now and then and the crappy back road to work shakes everything else off.
