My 2a is driven most days, but less so off road.

Mostly carrying heavy stuff, helping friends move house, carting gardening supplies and drunk people and the like.

She is currently shod in ex military olympic trojans.

But I would like to save them for the future and swap into them when actually adventuring, and I have a spare set of rims.

What brands styles of tyres in 7.50 R16 does anyone recomend for Highway Use?

cheers in advance

G'day HarlingtonStraker :)

If you wish to stay with Conventionals (Cross Ply Tyres) I would recomend you use Custom Hi-Miler :) just a ribbed road pattern tyre, a GOOD tyre shop like Beaurepairs should be able to help, or you could go the same with Radials with a road pattern, both in 7.50 X 16 size, or you maybe able to check with somebody on here that has some Ex-Army Olympic Steel-Treks 7.50 x16 as the army regularly sell these in bulk lots at auction, they sell at an age limit ? years old, some are new or slightly used, I bought some for my 2a GS that were near new for $35 ea:D as the guy that bought them for his restoration wanted 6, but had to buy 1 or the LOT (216:eek:) he has since sold them all to landy owners and ex military restorers:) & farmers for their Cruisers
