hazard ligts flashing

hi took the car on a trip down a bumpy and corragated road after bouncing around the hazard lights came on and were still going even with the car turned off restarted car and lights went out. This has happened before, is there any way of preventing this happening as i would like to go down that type of road now and then . also can anyone advise me where is the best place to buy landrover spares ie new or second hand (clock spring)thanks to everyone

I am assuming Disco I. The hazard light issue is an alarm system thing. There is a repair which involves opening the alarm ECU and open circuiting one of the parts of the board. I am not sure which part offhand.
