hi guys
firstly not sure if this is the right place didnt think it was right for markets but i'll move it if required.. just let me know..
i have found a place in perth that is willing to make a centre pipe... no prices yet but if im getting one made, i may as well get several made, so if anyone is interested then give me a shout so that i can give him some qty's to see if we can get the price down...
not sure postage wise how much they would cost to ship as they should be fairly light... but if your in and around perth its easier as i can drop them off to you...
if you could let me know asap...
thanks
Steve

bugger should of said disco II TD5! im assuming there will be a considerable difference? :oops2: sorry cameron... :(
anyway price for disco II pipe made to fit mine is (single prices should come down for multi)
mild steel with mild steel flanges - $100
stainless tube with mild steel flanges $120
both tubes are 2mm wall thickness so fairly sturdy
remember we should be able to get the price down with a couple, he wont commit to discount yet tho...

Hi Steve,
I will put my name down for a stainless one. I am in Melbourne. Postage is usually not that bad if you send it regular.
Cheers

By reuse of OE flanges you mean they chopped the ends off and rewelded to the new formed pipe?
the D2 only requires a bend of about 10deg and then 5 degrees.. plus the hangars welding too..
i'd love to do my own... just aint got round to building the garage yet :D
all in i thought the prices were reasonable... and i guess i could get it close to the $80 mark if i get a few together...
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve
Put me down as a possible,if interest is there.
Im waiting to hear that Stuart is back on deck at Rovercraft to hit him up for an AULRO bulk order of all diesel Landy intermediate pipes,as Im sure he can do something for everyone on AULRO rather than just Perth D2 pilots.
They are available off the shelf in UK from companies RovaCraft deal with.
Thanks for the Perth price see what we can get out of Stuart,if he ever returns:eek::eek::eek::eek:
