Well Guys,
I have about 15 hours to make a decision about what is the best rubber to have fitted to the Rangie.
In all honesty, I can't allow the price to be a governing factor, even if it is in the back of my mind all of the time.
The first choice of tyres has to be the right one as I won't be affording another set for quite some time.
Thanks heaps to all those who have offered their help so far, it is greatly appreciated.
Please keep the input coming, it's going to be a sleepless night I fear with $1300.00 sheep with rubber tyres on them bouncing through fences all night.
I'll let you know how it all turns out.....
Best wishes to all,
Shirley..

Have you worked out which size to get yet ?

And where are you ?
I have a near new set of standard size 205 Pirellis & quite a few near new 235 Michelins which are slightly wider but the same height as the standard 205s (235s were fitted on the later D1 & D2).

Hi Scott,
We are on the Central Coast at Wyee Luv.
It's been a long while since I had my other Rangies and a lot of water has passed under the bridge, probably enough to fill Warragamba Dam when it was empty.. Just can't get the gas guzzleing mongrels out of my blood.
One thing is for sure, it has made me an avid fan of "TOP GEAR". Jeremy is now my latest hero...
